Utica, NY, November 22, 2021 — New York’s average gas price remains the same as last week averaging $3.56 per gallon. Today’s price is 5 cents higher than a month ago ($3.51), and $1.34 higher than November 22, 2020 ($2.22). New York’s average gas price is 16 cents higher than the national average.
“The price of crude oil accounts for about 50%–60% of what consumers pay at the pump, so a lower oil price could eventually translate into better gasoline prices for drivers,” said Patti Artessa, Regional Director of Public and Government Affairs at AAA Northeast.
